Arranged Marriage Stories, Explicit and Slow
An arranged marriage starts at the end of the usual story. Two adults are already bound to each other, and everything a romance normally builds toward has to be discovered afterwards: attraction, trust, whether they even like each other. That inversion is what makes it compelling.
The writer treats the awkwardness seriously, because skipping it removes the point. The careful politeness, the negotiated first night, the slow accumulation of knowledge about a person you are already committed to. Then it lets warmth arrive at whatever pace you set.
You define the arrangement, the culture around it, and how willing each of them is. All characters are consenting adults.
Start with one of these
Each one opens the writer with the scene already typed in. Change any detail before you generate.
The first night
Two adults in an arranged marriage spend their first night alone together, both polite and both nervous. Write it slowly and explicitly, with a lot of negotiation.
Write this storyA year of politeness
Write a scene where two people a year into a formal arranged marriage finally admit they want each other. Explicit, restrained until it is not.
Write this storyBusiness, not romance
Two adults marry for strictly practical reasons and agree the marriage will never be physical. Write the night that agreement fails.
Write this storyLearning what they like
Write an explicit scene where two people in an arranged marriage deliberately set out to learn what the other actually enjoys.

Questions
- Can I set the cultural setting?
- Yes. Describe the setting and customs you want and the story will stay inside them.
- Can it start reluctant?
- Yes. Say how willing each character is, and the writer holds that position until the story earns a change.
